Brie can be topped with jam, wrapped in puff pastry and frozen. When ready to serve, simply defrost in refrigerator (puff pastry can not be microwaved), bake and top with honey and almonds.

Ingredients:

Brie Cheese (can be round or a slice) - 6 oz
Puff Pastry - 1 square
Raspberry Jam - 1/4 cup
Honey - 2 Tbsp
Almonds, slivered - 1/4 cup
Butter, melted - 2 Tbsp

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray bottom of cooking sheet or small baking pan.

2. Lay sheet of room temperature puff pastry on board. Stretch from center out to achieve square large enough to cover brie.

3. Position brie in center of puff pastry. Spoon raspberry jam onto top of brie. Fold edges of puff pastry up around cheese.

4. Brush puff pastry with melted butter. Place cookie sheet in middle of hot oven and bake for approximately 10-14 minutes. Watch closely. Puff pastry will begin to brown and brie will begin to melt.

5. Remove from cookie sheet and transfer to serving dish. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Serve with crackers.
